Jagalah Gigi Anda

Mohon ampun ibu ibu sama bapak bapak sekalian... i ferrrgot to give some tips loh gi mana mau caranya untuk ngatasi tiap kali gigi kita jadi nyut nyut...okay! ;D

Please inform the doctor first and they will give u an antibiotic in order to kill the bacteria which will subside the swollen part.

  2. AMARAN!

In the mean time, kalau jahitan tu tercabut sendiri atau ade sedikit bengkak, dats NORMAL. Tapi kalau tiba tiba sakit sangat, consult your dentist secepat mungkin.

  5. gosok la gigi selalu. wut else kan...........

No more toothache please................

My wisdom teeth was in pain again…. So bad that I cudnt sleep at nite. It was the same teeth which I’ve gone through several treatments including a root canal. Next morning, when I woke up, my left cheek seems to be bigger than the other one caused by the swollen gums. Dun ask how it felt like….sakit lar!

Coincidentally my mom had an appointment at the Klinik Kesihatan Bangsar where she ‘happily’ promoted to everybody how good the place is. Fine, aku ikutlah sebab dah tak tahan sangat.

After my waiting number was called, I went in, the lady dentist said, “Ok, ni kena cabut ni”, without asking me is the area aching or not (aku ni main tibai je la coz dah sakit…how am I supposed to know the consequence kalau cabut gigi mase tengah sakit). Anyway cant she looked at how swollen the area is??!!?? Tup..tup…she gave 2 injections to get it numb and said, “Ok dah, u boleh tunggu kat luar & bayar seringgit yer…”. I was like, “eerr…oh..ok”.

So I did what she has instructed & waited patiently at the ruang menunggu. Few minutes later, my number was being called again. Aik! I looked at my mom, “my number again la….wow! ini sudah efficient..eheh..”. Unfortunately her turn didn’t turn up yet.

Soon as I sit on the chair, belum pun ilang rasa gabra & suspense aku, she already took God knows wut the thing supposed to be called lar…playar kot - to remove my tooth. Damn! I hinted her to add 1 more injection coz i didn’t feel fully numb on that particular area. But she resisted & being so confident as 2 were enuff. Anyhoo, soon as she starts to extract the molar teeth out, terrified filled me in. I had an experience where a lady dentist didn’t have enuff strength to pull the same tooth as the root was still strong. Instead I ended up with cuts all over the place. Truma la aku kan…. Anyway, back to this story, I just have got to put my tawakal to Allah taala & soon I realized, everything was over. She said she’s done & asked me to wait outside for my medicine.

I went out, I saw my mom, I smiled, I sit & I PASSED OUT! yup…aku pengsan! I heard my name being called several times but the voices starts to become slower & gone. Everything seems black. I can feel how weak my body was. Amazingly my subconscious mind was still thinking of what the heck is happening to me, am I dying, is this how it felt when ure pengsan, u kno…..stuff like that. Funny lar coz aku memang seumur hidup tak pernah merasa benda benda macam ni. What more hospitalised, so far pun Alhamdulillah tak penah lagi.

I cud feel my body being lifted and pushed on ‘something’ (hahah….aku bley sempat ingat atas stretcher….bodo giler! klinik gigi mane ade stretcher ngok. wheelchair je la paling hebat pun). Just right after I had the extra strength left to at least open up my eyes, I opened them widely. As wide as possible. I refused to let my eyes close even for a second. Takut. I didn’t know exactly why but I was scared to let it happen…again. So they shifted me on a recliner to lower down my head as the oxygen will have a fast flow to my brain. When asked am I okay, my head just nodded reaalllyy sloooooowly with my eyes following it. I had no energy at all. Rase macam tenaga ni habis kena serap keluar. Felt damn week that I cudnt even lift my hand yang jatuh terkulai disisiku…ecewah! (drama kena ade bebeh…)

1 of the dentists took off my scarf, belt, shoes, basically everything that would block the air from me. After gaining my full consciousness, I was being given a mug of glucose through a straw of course! Remember, gusi sebelah kiri aku dok berdarah darah lagi ni + kena sumbat dengan kapas lagi ha. Nak teguk bodo camtu je lagu mana...?

The best part was, that lady dentist comfortably presumed my reason being passed out was because I was scared to death kena cabut gigi. Pale otak dier! Ingat aku ni budak darjah 3 ke? I didn’t even sleep the whole last nite, had no breakfast at all that morning sebab gigi dah sakit giler and blood gashed out profusely when she got the tooth removed, has it never occured to her that a person could has low blood pressure and could go blackout due to all these circumstances…huh? I got so mentally sick and physically weak, just kept quiet and chow from the place. K.lia helped me to walk the place out and ensure I didn’t fall again..huhu. There was 1 nice lady offered me to lie down at a surau while waiting for mom’s minor surgery. Semoga Allah merahmati dia.

What an experience kan….malu weh orang tengok kita pengsan macam tu. Issyy…..segannya. Meremang bulu roma everytime I recall that moment. Because of me, tempat tu jadi huru hara kejap, adei….. lagi 1 yang paling memalukan adalah, kalau pengsan kat hospital ke, logic la sket, ni kat klinik gigi??!! OMG! Tak de tempat lain ke kak….?!!? Warrgghhh!! Maluuuu!!! Lagi bestnyer, kena lalu balik tempat kejadian…Wallawei! Tahap dewa 19 dah malu aku ni….adoi!!!

Gelak eh……?

The next day, I have got to resume my work at the office. MC 1 hari je ;( …hhmmppeh. Am having closing pulak this week, ya Allah..memang betul betul menguji ketabahanku kali ni. Even though I was on painkiller, but when u had your body working extra hard & not having enuff rest, u cud still feel the pain & the body could gives a total wreck. When I check the wounds, how surprised I was to find out it has been infected with blood & pus. Definitely comes with uneasy smells. Yucckss…….

That night, the same nightmare recurred. I kept on waking up to spit and brush my tongue so I wont taste the blood. On Friday (semalam la…), first thing in the morning, told me mom about it, ran thru my smses for a dentist number given by my kazen which she has been recommending it almost a year by now...hihi, rang the no, unable to fix an appointment as it was too last-minute, however I managed to convince the receptionist to allow me to come at 12:30pm.

At 11:45, me, mak & umair (nak ikut jugak…) were already there. Dr Thiruchelvam at Pristine Dental was so kind & very delicate in handling his patients. His first impression when he looked at my wounds was, “Gosh, this is bad….how could they let u just like that after the teeth was being removed?”. So he washed out the area from all the blood + pus & put some ‘chakra’ (a substance which I heard him calling it…haha…sounds like cakrawala kan…adoi) in the deep cone-like-hole. With an angelic voice, I asked for a day off. Hihi. But he totally understood how I need it badly even though my face doesn’t seem to act/show like one. Got wut I mean not? Tak paham sudah. He then prescribed me with flagyl antibiotics, paracetamol for mild painkiller and ibuprofen for a stronger one.

Last nite, Alhamdulillah I managed to ‘gain’ my old laugh back & really enjoyed ourselves at Sarah’s wedding.

So now, im officially back-to-normal & very much happy about it….yeay!! ;D

Unrealistic concept in our Realistic life

Hari ni rase macam waktu sekolah mase kecik kecik dulu. Pagi sekolah kebangsaan, petang sekolah agama. Cuma bezanya, dulu kena pakai uniform, sekarang tak payah. Dulu kena bawak beg berrraatttt, sekarang bawak organizer & thumb drive jer. Dulu banyak rehat, sekarang rehat terbatas untuk time lunch & solat sahaja. Dulu banyak tenaga – balik dari sekolah agama je dah standby nak jumpe geng se’padang’, sekarang balik keje trus flat….ergghh.

Biase la..warm up jap ;p

Today, our islamic finance class was entirely about MUDHARABAH concept & its practices. As usual, a very common topic but when the lecturer went deeper especially on the technical part, we would go “oowwhhhhhhhhhhh” or “aaaaaaaaa….” or “I seeeeee” or “no wonder laaaaaaaa….”. Bile lecturer tu got stucked dengan soalan bertubi tubi ala ala nak menghentam gitu ditambah pula dengan perasaan yang macam terror oleh kami kami ni (sebab buleh nak counter attack kan…) dengan gelak gelak gatal, we would go “but just now u said yada yada yada yada” or “are u sure coz the common practise now is yada yada yada yada” or even worst, “i think there’s an omitted clause that u might have skipped/overlooked!”. And the lecturer’s face would turn purple, like what had happened today. *

Ok, I’ll go straight to the point.

Mudharabah simply means profit sharing. Meaning when there’s a profit, it will be shared between the capital provider (rab al-mal) and the entrepreneur (mudharib) as accordance to their agreed percentage (e.g: 70:30 respectively) . However when there’s a loss, 100% out of the total loss would be borne by the capital provider and the entrepreneur would bear nothing. Waittt..!!! im not finished yet lar... Even though it seems that this pratice is not Islamic despite the arabic name, this was what been adopted by our prophet Muhammad s.a.w. before his prophecy. Remember the time when he worked under Saidatina Khadijah r.a? He as the entrepreneur and she as the capital provider. As a result, her business had bloomed tremendously (from this event, the revolution of islamic trading/finance has indirectly made its first remark).

Pelik? Tak pun. Sebab sebenarnye entrepreneur tu pun still tanggung rugi juga. Not in the monetary view but in the non-monetary wise – effort, time, duit minyak, duit toll, so on & so forth.

Alrite, this is too basic kan.. Ok, ill go a bit further. I want to touch on examples of mudharabah. Nie lah yang menjadi punca kelas aku habis awal tadi… huhu. (anyway, memang cikgu kena balik awal pun sebab dia ade hal skit).

1st scenario:
Kita buat saving dalam Meibank Mudharabah account. Meibank invest duit kita dalam islamic counters. So, kita sebagai capital provider & Meibank sebagai entrepreneur. Normally the profit sharing ratio would go higher on the bank side and pretty low on the account holder side, say 97:3.
Soalan saya/kami sekelas:
Apa jadi kalau investment yang Meibank invest tu rugi? Tak pernah pulak nampak ade negative amount being credited from our account besides bank charges. So, ape jadi dengan mudharabah concept yang diwar warkan oleh Meibank atau bank bank lain yang dok pratice the same concept ni?

2nd scenario:
Kali ni kita terbalik kan situation dia (sebab cikgu tak leh jawab soklan we all tadi..eheh). Kita buat financing dengan DIMB bank, say mudharabah ratio dia 60 (DIMB) : 40 (kita). Kita start business dobi dengan duit tu. Tiba tiba business kita rugi. In real case situation, DIMB tak akan tanggung rugi tu walaupun dia memainkan peranan sebegai rab al-mal. Betul…takde maknenyer in real life situation manusia manusia ni nak share untung. Lagi satu, monthly instalments still need to be placed to the bank. So again, where does mudharabah fall into its place?

Me & my class’ assumptions:-
- the losses portion would be hidden under the bank charges (or some may call it as administrative charges)
- the ORIGINAL mudharabah concept has been modernized or commercialised to fit into the so-called dynamic economy market strategy – again to materialized profit, no longer to practice a transparent Islamic economic practice as what have been preached by Rasulullah saw.
- the huge gap in ratio between capital provider and entrepreneur (e.g 70:30 respectively) may have already cover any loss event by the big portion holder.

A special request for Takaful M’sia (STMB) staff to respond and give your generous feedback on this issue since u have greater capacity of knowledge after your company’s Mudharabah concept as compared to my company where we operate the business using the Wakalah concept.

Whatever it is, every single thing should be clearly stipulated in a contract, with condition they must be guided by syariah requirements. Hence, any future disputes are able to be avoided. This is the beauty in Islam.

Discovery day! (haha..tajuk ni klakar giler..cant think of the most suitable one)

I don’t know. Sumtimes we never realized just how lucky we are being surrounded with nice people around us. And the time we discovered it, a simple smile would explains how we feel ;)

Noon discovery

I went to accompany mom for her 2nd urut. All these while, everything were only listening, but no meeting. So when I heard mom had her session being scheduled this weekend, I didn’t want to blow the chance to meet this lady.

What ive heard about her were actually half of the glass. The other half is she’s one of the nicest Surabaya ladies I’ve ever met with. Tutur kata dia sangat lembut. Rajin. Even the daughter is just the same. …(orang jawa asli emang kayak gitu loh). They had welcomed us with their sweet smiles purely coming from their hearts, as if to say “masuklah, makanlah, minumlah wahai tetamu kami dalam rumah yang serba apa adanya ini”.

Itulah rutin harian si anak to make sure that they can still survive living. ;)

Nite discovery (I)

Wedding lagi. Adoi. Letih. Cerita aku boleh kenal dengan pengantin ni memang agak lawak sebenarnya which tak boleh nak diterangkan disini sebab terlalu berjela…huhu. Even though we've been knowing each other for quite some time (last 2 yrs kot), tapi name dia pun aku baru tau last week. Itupun dpt reminder sms. Sebab awal awal dah di-rsvp-kan, jadi harus datang ;p

Last minute plak Yanti cancelled to follow since she might be going back quite late from Genting. Ring mek tett, gi facial pulak. Ring ayu, hehe..berjaya.

So we went to the wedding and terbangak bangak sebab tak kenal saper saper except for one person. No. Two! Including the bride. Well, there were few familiar faces that I knew but never care to know the names (biase la aku kan….).

Anyhoo, endless congratulations to both of u - Karthi & Rajiv. May u live happily as husband & wife. A nice wedding. An applausive one as well. First time nih attend wedding ade buat magic show. Jangan main main ok, got burung u know. Oh ya! Api also got. Tapi itu janggut ade siket terbakar la macha. But its okay, overall it was an enjoying performance. Also, thanks to u Shiken yang always cantek for making us felt very much welcomed.. ;)

Nite discovery (II)

After the wedding, we headed straight to Glenmarie for another function plaks. Ayu’s officemate baru masuk rumah baru & ni nak attend the house-(yang giler babs punyer cantik!!!)-warming la.

Pendekkan cerita, tak sia sia kami membiarkan perut ini diisi lagi dan lagi dan lagi dan lagi dan lagi sampai gemok in attending the back-to-back functions. Bukan pasal makanan sedap sedap, tapi hati yang sangat terkesima atau keternikmatan atau amazed having to look at the houses & cars owned by the residences. I got easily hooked-on with the fascinating ambience. Two words – MAK TADOK. We were almost mistaken porches/ferraris for hills of sands & cements! Ade la gak nampak Myvi & Kelisa kat situ, tapi aku rase tu sume keter maid diaorang kot………

FYI, ive been to several country height residences in M’sia but none of them are as classy as this one. The 75-resort-like-modern-bungalows-only area is developed under a hotel (can’t be mentioned here for specific purpose…sori). Expat mat salleh pun ade 4 orang je yang menyewa kat situ which the rent itself pun dah berbelas/puluhan ribu. Besides Malaysian buyers, Singoporeans are among the residents here & some of them let it for rent. Huge investment huh! Ade these 2 bungalows located just next to each other, bought by best friends. They had their wall (which separates the 2 roofs) removed & renovating it into a damn swimming pool! Lumayan buanget nih…. ;D

Back to Ayu’s officemate’s house-warming...no..i think I should say bungalow-warming, it was a very classy yet cosy one. She was so kind & so willing to bring us touring the whole house. From the front door til the back door. From downstairs to upstairs. From the living rooms to the jacuzzi. Mata aku tak berkelip kelip tengok every single details of the decors. Mulut aku tak berenti renti cakap – “cantiknyerrrrr yu”. They all buat sendiri semua. From the researching until decorating the house. "Penat tapi berbaloi" said her. Totally not datinz/toh puanz common styles. Kami berdua terpaksa admit kami agak peghak habeh jugaklah mase tu..eheh.

Alrite, here comes the interviewing part. Really like this one! ;D
- the house motive is classic contemporary
- cool couple as akak ni & the hubby share the same passion in house decorating. they luv to travel all the way to foreign countries just to gain fresh ideas as well as adding unique materials to their current collections.
- obviously the arrangements & house accesories ideas are coming from they had had experienced.
- the water feature is literally different than what we’ve been exposed in M’sia. Simen biase je pun, tapi husband & wife ni memang terror kan…so tak yah citer lebih lebih la.
- another awesome fact is that the fabulous interior design artworks were done by the hubby’s most admired Javanese designer, Jaya Ibrahim which u can actually tell by the hotel-like custom made furniture. Simple yet minimalistically sophisticated.
- expectantly, almost all the things were bought in Jakarta & have been shipped here.
- dengan katil anak anak pun built-in. bilek maid2 dia jer aku tak sempat nak audit.
- tempat buang sampah dia pun modern! boleh??!??
- music can be played from the master bedroom & to be listened while relaxing at the house lawn.
- and yadayadayada.....

I just don’t get at how some people could invite others to admire/appreciate their belongings without having the show-off-attitude. And everyone seems to absorb and agree of their pure humbleness & the feeling of sharing.

*yawn* and *yawn* lagi. no wonder…its already 4 in the morning. so kiter mimpi rumah cantek malam ni… nighty nite..

Zzzzzzz………….
